Pro-MAM Performance is a phantom designed for routine and rapid continuous image quality checks in mammography systems. It is particularly suited to monitoring those parameters that are most likely to deteriorate over time.

Key features and benefits

• Contains six groups of multi-directional filaments (10 mm long) with diameters: 0.40 / 0.35 / 0.30 / 0.25 / 0.225 / 0.20 mm.

• Includes six groups of microcalcifications with diameter ranges: 354-224 µm, 283-180 µm, 226-150 µm, 177-106 µm, 141-90 µm, 106-63 µm.

• Six groups of three low-contrast details (ø 3 mm) with nominal contrasts at 28 kVp: 0.04 / 0.03 / 0.02 / 0.015 / 0.01 / 0.005. Each contrast value is repeated three times.

• Half-section module: In addition to the test objects above, it contains a “background section” of clinically realistic breast tissue – simulating tissue structure – which also contains low-contrast details with the same specifications.

• Comes with several PMMA sheets: six sheets of 10 mm thick and two sheets of 5 mm thick, along with a transport/storage case.

• Certified according to: IEC 61223‑3‑2.
